This old bridge still earns its keep, opening and closing with amazing regularity. I know this because we rented an apartment right on the Amstel River and this bridge was prominently displayed in the panorama in view from our balcony. We could watch it as it opened and closed. Even large ocean-going ships chug through the open bridge and at other times an unbroken stream of bicycles flow over it.查看详情

This bridge would require some walking if you plan on crossing it by land. But if you're bad with maps, you could always take a river cruise which will bring you to within eyesight of this interesting bridge. I prefer the former as it allows you to see for yourself the architecture wonder of such a bridge crossing. We are used to seeing the Tower Bridge, but this is a different thing altogether, and you need to place it into context with the time of construction. Modern bridges doesn't look as f查看详情

Centrally located on the Amstel, this quaint little bridge is photogenic and provides a nice viewpoint up and down the Amstel.查看详情

The bridge goes over the Amstel and the mark in the map is wrong! If you walk by the Amstel you will find it.查看详情

This bridge has a long history, begining in 1691, with conflicting accounts on how it got its name. It was rebuilt in 1871, and again in 1934. Iconic and very pretty bridge, particularly at night - opens a few times a day but not at regular intervals. If the bridge is opened and you have to cross the Amstel, take the Blauwbrug to its north. If you're interested in bridges, note that the site of "Bridge of 15 Bridges" is pretty nearby - there you can see 15 bridges at a single location!查看详情

It's cute, it's illuminated, it's a great place to stop and admire the view up and down the river. They've got some kind of audio installation going on at the moment that might come as a bit of a surprise if you're not expecting it.查看详情

Magere Brug is the most beautiful illuminated attraction in Amsterdam but when the Christmas comes to town it becomes even more pretty. From 7th of December this year there are a lot of unique illuminated things around the Bridge. Just amazing!查看详情

I would recommend taking a boat tour of the canals of Amsterdam - it is the best way to see Amsterdam and see all of its charm. The Magere Brug - translation skinny bridge can be found near the Hermitage and Carre Theatre over the Amstel river. Especially in the evening a pretty sight with the lights.查看详情

It is the bridge over the Amstel in one of the most beautiful streets of Amsterdam (the Kerkstraat). How cool is that? See it by night. It's beautiful!查看详情

The bridge and its shape takes you back in time and makes you think of its original functionality. In the area you can also admire very nice house boats. Beautifully lit in the sunset.查看详情

When you pass this great bridge in the evening watch the lights. Take this in your walking route to the Hermitage when you have time enough. Every year the D-day with our Queen is situated near this bridge. Visit this if you're in Amsterdam.查看详情

Every other year I buy a membership because my child and her cousin love to go. When we heard that the Space Shuttle Enterprise was coming to town we were excited even though it never went to space. Long story short, you don't get to go inside the shuttle. There is very little interactive displays. My sister went to see the one in Washington DC, she read more went inside and it was free.

The rest of the museum is as fantastic as ever. The family still enjoys it.
