“BALI MUST DO.”
We have been here alot over the last 2 years and its worth a look each time. Everybody that goes to bali needs to stop here and just have a quiet look and take a few photo's. Its easy to find near the surf shops on Legian street. Over the road to the west is a carpark behind a green fence and i have been told this is the other site and that the Australian goverment wants to do another monument here. I hope if they do its just as nice.

The monument is in the middle of very busy area of Jalan Legian, but is always kept in excellent condition. We have visited Bali many times since 1st bombing and always come past this area for a look.
“Hard to believe”
When you visit this monument it is hard to believe what took place and how time has passed. Something we will never forget in our lifetime. A must visit to pay respect when in Bali.
We went to the memorial and saw the place where the bomb went off and it was very moving and sad to think of all those people who died there and also those that survived. Worth going to visit and see the horrible numbers killed. Very moving.

“A must see”
Every traveller to Bali must go and see Ground Zero at least once! It has been tastefully manicured with nice paving and tasteful tropical greenery!
Came across this beautiful memorial many times and each time I got chills and a rush of sadness at the thought of all these people losing their lives. Very sad but good to see and pay respects.

it shows that what happened in 2002 and the victims will be always remembered, it allows us to respect them and makes sure that they will never be forgotten. some people which many of them domestic tourists misunderstood about this monument and take it as boring and unimportant thing, but the real purpose of course to reminds us about the terrible terrorism we have in our country, and in hope this kind of tragedy will never happen again.

“A fitting Tribute”
I just wish other travelers would respect it a little more and stop trampling all over it taking photos of what is essentially a wall
I read about the attack and saw it on tv, we drove on the same road and was given some information about the location by our driver.Good to visit if you are in Bali.
The tragical event when many people were killed by fundamentalist islamists is well remembered with the monument of ground zero. Its a must to see and visit when you are in Kuta. However, considering the visible increasing islamic population in Bali it seems to be of less importance to the authorities because of a reducing maintenance.
“A day to remember”
the location is at Jalan Legian ..... next to this place with restaurant , club and shop....nice place for discovery area ....

Beautiful memorial. I stopped by to pray and to pay my respect, i really hope they will kept this memorial clean and accessable for everyone.
“what was... what is!”
Its a beautiful memorial to beautiful innocent lives lost. The actual site of the Club could be made into a lovely garden in the future, maybe!

Legian Street, Kuta, Bali, Indonesia
Every other year I buy a membership because my child and her cousin love to go. When we heard that the Space Shuttle Enterprise was coming to town we were excited even though it never went to space. Long story short, you don't get to go inside the shuttle. There is very little interactive displays. My sister went to see the one in Washington DC, she
went inside and it was free.
The rest of the museum is as fantastic as ever. The family still enjoys it.
