“CITY OASIS CLOSE TO THE MALL”
One of my favourite locations when visiting Brisbane City. I usually stay in a hotel close to this lovely park or near the Botanical Gardens on the opposite side of Queen Street. With the abundant tropical trees and flowers it is a cool reprieve on a hot summers day to walk through (or sit in ) en route to the ferry or the mall. Another of the many lovely spots in Brisbane City.查看详情

“Flora and sculpture”
King Edward Park is a small, hilly patch of green just to the north of the Brisbane CBD. A few paths cross the lawns at different heights, with lovely seats throughout. The real feature is the sculptures; not so many as to spoil the atmosphere, but some nice pieces or art scattered across the lawns. Most spectacular are the four bronze sculptures at the bottom of the park – they are very eye-catching and are a great way of finding the park. King Edward Park is a little oasis in Brisbane. Every other year I buy a membership because my child and her cousin love to go. When we heard that the Space Shuttle Enterprise was coming to town we were excited even though it never went to space. Long story short, you don't get to go inside the shuttle. There is very little interactive displays. My sister went to see the one in Washington DC, she read more went inside and it was free.

The rest of the museum is as fantastic as ever. The family still enjoys it.
