I have never had chicken like they way they do it at Cherng Doi. The women who runs the place is soooo nice and the food is always fresh, clean, and delicious. Its one of my top favorite restaurants in Chiang Mai and the value is excellent. I love the atmosphere, very cozy and simple. This is one of our favourite restaurants in Chiang Mai (having eaten our way through the city over the past year or so). In addition to the always succulent and crispy grilled chicken and grilled pork, there's a range of other dishes, inclusing chicken and muchroom larbs (famous northern dish), a few variations on the classic som-tam (papaya salad) and more.
