“Great atmosphere”
We went to Comedara twice because it was close to our B&B. We went less because of the exotic cuisine and more due to the quiet atmosphere. The food and service were good, and the riverside location was great after a long day of sightseeing. We enjoyed watched the rowers and kayakers go up and down the river while the sun set. As it got dark, you can look across the river and see the city of Chiang Mai start its evening routine. Again, I cannot comment on its exotic food; but for a relaxing happ查看详情

“The authentic Lanna cuisine”
I've been there on late afternoon around 4 PM. There's nice place. The restaurant is on Ping riverside, very nice atmosphere. I and my girlfriend have ordered food for 4 menus as Lanna and Thai food. They were very nice food if you wanna try some kind of Lanna food should be OK. The tastes are nice with big portion.查看详情

“Worst restaurant I've visited”
My wife and I wanted a special meal and decided to go to the Comedara which was just up the road from our B&B. I was in the mood for Duck and in Thailand it’s ever resent on most menus. So having passed the Comedara several times and seeing they had a very extensive menu we thought we would give it a go. To save time my wife walked down to borrow a menus havig explained where we were staying so we could have a good perusal in advance Lots of duck on the menu Whoopee so off we went ! We arrived a查看详情

“Excellent food, great ambiance and service!!”
We went there for dinner and we loved the view as the restaurant was right next to the Ping river. The food was delicious (especially green curry roti roll!) and the musicians were great. We got to hear a few of our favorite songs we requested. Highly recommended!查看详情

“Don't go here”
We made a mistake to go here twice. The food wasn't good the first time, but because it was really close to our B&B we went again. The first time we ordered Northern dishes which are, let's say, a required taste. The second time I went for safe and ordered a tom kha kai soup which should be fine, but it was bad. I even make a better one! The view on the river is nice, but it doesn't make up for the bland food. Don't go here but pay a bit more for the Gallery/Riverside which is further down the r查看详情

“A memorable treat”
First of all, Comedara's authentic northern cuisine is really amazing. I personally recommend their 'Gaeng Hung-Lae', which has been featured in local magazines in newspapers. Don't miss out on this goodness. Fight for it if you have to! Travelling with close friends, I also enjoyed the sophisticated yet peaceful and relaxing setting that Comedara offers. The staffs were attentive and polite. The music was not as loud as other riverside restaurants nearby so we could enjoy the conversation and, 查看详情

“A fantastic place for dinner with great food accompanied by live music”
Comedara is a fantastic restaurant, out of the way from the hustle and bustle of the center of Chiang Mai. There is a wonderful ambiance about the place and you are accompanied by great live music to listen to while you eat. The staff are very attentive and very friendly. The food is exception and I strongly suggest you try the Smoked Chicken Wings, Pork Spare Ribs, Chicken Kebabs and don't forget to order Ruby fish with Garlic and Pepper! Please try this gem of a place!!查看详情

“Tranquil Riverside Setting”
Situated behind the recently restored art gallery of the same name, this Thai restaurant offers very good quality Thai food, from an extensive menu. Service is pleasant, if a little chaotic. Prices are reasonable for the location. Riverside setting is lovely, and a visit to the art gallery before or after dinner is always an experience.查看详情

“Below expectation”
We dropped by for lunch one afternoon, and were the only table but one, which was occupied by another Asian couple. The staff who appeared half asleep in the heat, seemed surprised to have customers. The food, which is almost exactly double in cost compared to the same dished one can get on the other side of the river, was OK, but nothing to write home about. Again, you can get better food for less elsewhere. Ambience- none, but that could simply be because it was lunchtime instead of evening. S查看详情

“Excellent food, excellent service, with lovely riverside views.”
Having spent some time now in Thailand, we found this one of the best restaurants we have been to. The service was impeccable, attentive but not intrusive; the food was excellent, with an emphasis on local dishes; and on the evening we were there, there was a first class guitarist and singer duo. All this is in a lovely riverside setting. Different of course from eating at market stalls (which is great fun and great food) but very good value and highly recommended for a really pleasant evening o查看详情

“Authentic Northern Thai”
There are several restaurants along the water and this is easily the best. It is harder to find as it sits back from the main road. The chicken green curry roti rolls were amazing, we enjoyed all the food here. Service was great and they even had a band playing which made sitting by the waterfront even more romantic.查看详情

“Northern Thai dishes a specialty”
Friendly charming restaurant with reliable Thai food on the river with lovely views, but not flooded with Westerners like other places further down the river bank. Northern Thai food is their thing but there are also more recognisable courses too.查看详情

“Great service, bland food, no atmosphere whatsoever.”
If service alone could carry a restaurant then Comedara would be right up there in the top 20 for Chiang Mai.....alas the main focus in any restaurant has to be the food and that's where Comedara fails. I can apreciate that many Thai restaurants may gear the food towards a western palate to draw in tourists but judging by the deserted restaurant we found ourselves sitting in it doesn't appear to be working. I can honestly say that I've never had such bland Thai food anywhere in the Kingdom. My w查看详情

“Beats all others on service and quality”
Surprisingly good. Nice location, up from the Gallery, Riverside and the Good View. Managed to find a lovely table, an English speaking waitress. Starters came as starters, main courses as mains, a rarity in our experience, all other restaurants have a serve it as it comes mentality and you are lucky if all the dishes you order come. Not too spicy, very adapted to the less spicy palate, nice quality of food, compares extremely favourably to Antique House and the Gallery.查看详情

Every other year I buy a membership because my child and her cousin love to go. When we heard that the Space Shuttle Enterprise was coming to town we were excited even though it never went to space. Long story short, you don't get to go inside the shuttle. There is very little interactive displays. My sister went to see the one in Washington DC, she read more went inside and it was free.

The rest of the museum is as fantastic as ever. The family still enjoys it.
