“A Bit Disappointing”
We took a group tour to attend this dinner show. *As a side note, we frequently visit these dinner shows on all of our vacations. Typically, we get a great dinner and a very typical "country" dance show. The highlights were the beautiful setting... The area where the busses let you out has a small bridge that takes you across to the dinner area. Right outside of the dinner area are 3 beautiful young ladies who are sitting on low pedestals entertaining by playing an instrument, carving a fruit in查看详情

“Food and show”
Perhas the biggest of all the khantoke places - traditional Northern style food and cultural show restaurants. Rain marred the show a little, but the food was excellent and they kept refilling, so no shortage. A bit out of town, so on a package tour might be the way to go.查看详情

“A tourist trap”
It started allright with a nice welcomening by dancers. The we put our shoes on some shelfs outside and entered the dining area which was huge. We were like 170 persons but we were only a small fraction of the guests. Inside we found an area with enough empty spaces for us and sat down. The tables are very low, but beneath each table is a hole so that one could keep a normal sitting style while eating. The food arrived seemingly randomly. Some tables got all their food immidiately. Others got so查看详情

“Very average”
I expect a better show and much better food.. it was served in round tray and shared by 2-3 people. Very ordinary food, no extra. Show is like 'cheap' show.. what is nice is the light and view of the restaurant from outside.查看详情

“Dinner and Show”
It was a fun evening as we were with good friends and it was the only place we saw such a range of music and dance. Our guide had arranged for fantastic seats right in front, although later it began to rain so we moved to a drier location. The food was good, not outstanding except for the fried bananas, but a nice variety of Thai foods. [Drinks are not included.] The show was okay - some dances were really well done, but others seemed to bore some of the dancers. I'm glad we went, but don't be d查看详情

“Interesting glimpse at local cultural dances”
We booked only a few hours before the show started andnthey offer a transfer for 100 baht per person which we declined and got a tuk tuk for 80 baht for 3 people instead. The food was good although the deep fried chicken and other dishes didnt seem traditional but i wouldnt really know. There were 2 shows one inside and one outside, staff kept asking to bring more food but drinks were extra. Recommend doing this if you want to see some local cultural dancing.查看详情

“a staged cultural dance show”
I love the food, and the dances are beautiful and graceful. Living in Thailand for 12 years, I have yet to see any of these dances as a part of village life.查看详情

“Lovely food & show”
We visited & had not booked a table, however they were very accommodating despite being very busy. We sat at a low level table & were brought some beautiful food which was very quickly topped up as we ate. There are plenty of photo opportunities & photos are taken & sold to you later for 100 bhat if you want them. The music plays in the background as you eat & then later the dancers come out. It was beautiful to watch & a really lovely evening. At the end of the evening we purchased a lantern & 查看详情

“Worst expérience in Chiang Mai.”
Booked dinner for two including transfer for about 45 dollar. Was promised we would be there in good time for the show. After pickup from our hotel, we arrived at the venue after 1 hour 20 minutes. The venue is a 15 minute ride from our hotel. The show had then been going on for a good 20 minutes. We was then rushed to the table that of course had a bad location, even there were a lot of better tables available. We had to ask for a better table, and after a while we got a somewhat better table. 查看详情

“Food good, show dull”
We went to the Kantoke show last night, the food was great and there was a lot of it, the show began and was difficult to follow the story if you are English speaking, they may have done a translation but it was difficult to understand. The dancers were very beautiful, the male dancers that made the music were amazing. They take the photos of you with young women then try to sell them to you afterwards, and then after light the lanterns for 100 baht outside.查看详情

“A tasty and entertaining glimpse of Thai culture... must see!!!!”
The night started at 7:45pm with an abundant Thai meal which was very tasty. Bring your camera as there are numerous neat photo ops throughout the performance. The show ended around 9pm. My favorite part of the night was the chance to release a rice paper lantern at the end of the night. The lanterns were set off thoughout various times during the show and look amazing in the night sky. For 100 baht (about $3.00) I bought a lantern and released it with friends at the entrance to the pavilion... 查看详情

“Good food, good show”
You come to Chiang Mai you need to see a traditional dance show and taste the traditional food, right? Khum Khantoke is the place to do both at an afforadable price. The dinner consists of a set menu brought on the traditional northern Thai bamboo platters (called "khantoke", thus the name of the show). The food will include spicy tomato and pork "Nam Prik Ong", northern sausage and pumpkin bamboo soup. Dinner will be served with sticky rice and fresh vegetables. The show highlights various Cent查看详情

“Uninspiring”
I lobbied my family of 18 to go for a Khantoke dinner as it is reputed very good, cultural, etc. I deeply regret doing so. We arrived at the Khantoke and was told to take our seat for our dinner, which was served on a round tray table called khantoke. The food consisted of fried chicken, fried pork skin, fried noodles, rice and fried bananas (do you see a theme of fried food here?). They also had some very spicy dishes that we really could not try as it fries the palate! I consoled myself that t查看详情

Every other year I buy a membership because my child and her cousin love to go. When we heard that the Space Shuttle Enterprise was coming to town we were excited even though it never went to space. Long story short, you don't get to go inside the shuttle. There is very little interactive displays. My sister went to see the one in Washington DC, she read more went inside and it was free.

The rest of the museum is as fantastic as ever. The family still enjoys it.
