“A Buddhist monastery with the most remarkable hall and the largest teak wood Buddha statue.”
For 3 months, remains of the Lord Biddha from 9 countries (Thailand, Loas, Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and China) are housed in glass stupas inside a glass case at the central hall for people to pay respect and pray for the Lord Buddha.

“One of my favourites wats in Chiang Mai (got here blessing for a monk)”
The site of Wat Buppharam Chiang Mai is of historical importance, as it is from here that in 1797 Chao Kawila took back the city of Chiang Mai after 200 years of Burmese rule. Although the temple was established in 1497 by King Muang Kaew most of the architecture is late 19th century.

Chiang Mai, Thailand

Every other year I buy a membership because my child and her cousin love to go. When we heard that the Space Shuttle Enterprise was coming to town we were excited even though it never went to space. Long story short, you don't get to go inside the shuttle. There is very little interactive displays. My sister went to see the one in Washington DC, she read more went inside and it was free.

The rest of the museum is as fantastic as ever. The family still enjoys it.
