“Stumbled on this little treasure!”
We were just wandering in the area and decided to enter this great temple complex. The grounds were very beautiful with lots of beautiful plantings (I especially loved all the giant staghorn ferns). There was a very old stupa with nicely carved and painted stone window frames. It also had beautifully painted gold and red doors with very different and ornate Nagas in front. The museum was so interesting. Definitely an eclectic collection of items from the Colonial period in Chiang Mai. Definitely查看详情

“Great temple & museum for exploring”
This is a very visually-packed place. It's a patron chedi of the dog, so you will see a lot of dog figurines everywhere. The temple itself has some interesting carvings, with reflective-glass mosaic patterns in animal shapes on the outside. The museum is amazing, with a hodge-podge of items from ancient to near-modern - mammoth bones, a pictorial tribute to Princess Sirindhorn, fabric and clothing items, porcelain sets, radios of all ages, and more ... there are 4-5 good sized rooms, with a stor查看详情

“Lost Museum”
I read about the Wat Ket Karam Museum on a blog and decided to visit it. Although it's close to cafes and well known restaurants, there were just a couple of people in the temple complex, and just one caretaker in the museum. He waved me into the museum and then left me to my own devices. The museum is located in an old wooden building with interconnected rooms - there is also another building at one side that has some exhibits. The museum has the most random collection of exhibits I've seen, an查看详情

“Bits of Chiangmai History are here”
I wandered there without expectation and found the place to be more interesting than expected. There's a small and unique kind of museum there. It's in an old wooden one-storey building. The museum exhibits old stuffs from the daily-living in Chiangmai. The best part is the photo gallery of old-time Chiangmai. Give a nice walk there and around. About an hour will do.查看详情

“Old photos and displays.”
A private free museum that is not in pristine condition but has interesting photos and displays. Make a donation. Across the street is a foot bridge to the big Warorot market.查看详情

“Hidden gem”
Ornate and charming Wat with a really interesting higgledy piggeldy museum which is just a highly eclectic collection of things. Off the mainstream list of Wats but well worth a visit.查看详情

“Delightful temple with quirky museum”
Just over the footbridge from Wororot Market and near to several restauramts this delightful little temple makes a pleasant change from the large magnificent temples in the centre of town. Serving the chinese community, it is a more humble version of a buddhist temple, but more satisfying for it. The attached museum is a real glimse into the past, containing a Topsy-turvy collection of gifts given to the temple over the years. There is a room with an excellent collection of photos of Chiang mai.查看详情

Every other year I buy a membership because my child and her cousin love to go. When we heard that the Space Shuttle Enterprise was coming to town we were excited even though it never went to space. Long story short, you don't get to go inside the shuttle. There is very little interactive displays. My sister went to see the one in Washington DC, she read more went inside and it was free.

The rest of the museum is as fantastic as ever. The family still enjoys it.
