The picture showing does not reflect the limestone waterfalls
called Bua Tong in Chiang Mai that I went to. Bua Tong is a series
of small waterfalls that you can climb up and down without falling.
Truly an experience one should have. It defies logic to stand on a
rock as water rushes over your bare feet and not slip at all either

“Magical Experience”
This visit to the Bua Thong Waterfall was recommended by a
friend who had lived in Chiang Mai. It is not a regular haunt for
tourists I don't think, but well worth the visit.
You can climb down several flights of stairs to differing levels
and then climb back up through the water on limestone steps. You
have to be careful in some parts, but generally it is not slippery
at all. We had our five year old with us who did it three times
