“A delicious taste of what going to movies used to be like”
This venue has hosted many premieres over the last 30 years, and you can feel that ambiance the moment you go upstairs to enter the theater. The red plush surroundings conjure up the sense of a red carpet, and the size of the theater is impressive. We saw Argo there, and Skyfall somewhere else, and the Ziegfeld was certainly more memorable and always will be. If a movie is playing here that you want to see, I highly recommend checking it out.查看详情

“Argo on a Friday night”
We loved this theatre! It is beautiful and spacious! We saw Argo on a Friday night and while the movie ticket price was high ($13.25), the popcorn and soda were less expensive than at my local theatre which is NOT in NYCV.查看详情

“Great History”
The history alone makes this a place to see and the extra large screen is just icing on the cake. This theater has seen so many great acts over the years and I am glad to see the tradition continue. We need more places like this in the world. You must see a movie here to experience the feel of an old theater for yourself.查看详情

“The Last "Real" Theater”
I for one am not a fan of paying $10-$15 to see movies, as the "experience" is rarely worth it in the age of streaming video. However, The Ziegfeld is the one spot for which I always make an exception for a number of reasons. The ambiance is tough to top, as everything from the carpeting to the art on the walls to the chandeliers is a wonderful throw-back to the movie experience that faded away years ago. The theater has one screen, and to tell you the truth, this adds to the allure, and the fac查看详情

“Movie with a past”
Ziegfeld Theatre was across the street and playing the Hunger Games while in NYC. It is the last palace theatre remaining in NY and worth a visit. Chandeliers still hand, as well as red velvet drapings. Not crowded at all, as most folks in NY are going to broadway. It was a fun experience.查看详情

“Great old theater kept in wonderful condition!”
My friend and I saw "The Hunger Games" at the Ziegfeld. What a great experience! Big, old-time theater kept in fantastic condition! They only show one movie at a time, so get there at least 30-45 minutes early to avoid lines and to get a good seat. The people who worked there were super friendly!查看详情

“The best place to see a movie in New York City, for children of all ages!”
When my girlfriend told me that her work colleague was bringing his wife and 10 year old son to New York for the weekend of December 17-18, the first thing that came to my mind was that we should take them all to see a family movie at the Ziegfeld. Well, as it turned out, our friend's wife went shopping, but he and his son did accompany us to see Martin Scorsese's wonderful film "Hugo" at the grand spacious comfortable magical Ziegfeld Theater. The son loved the movie, and seemed very impressed 查看详情

“Great experience”
A cavernously spacious cinema, with comfortable seats, a huge screen, helpful staff and for a reasonable ticket price. What more could you want?查看详情

“A throwback with modern ticketing”
A highlight of a recent trip with my son was going to see "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, part 2" at the Ziegfeld. The theater is indeed a throwback to the days of fancy single-screen movie houses, with modern amenities. Entering the theater felt like an arrival, and made the screening more of an event for us. Seats are very comfy. Best pf all, for this movie at least, I could not only buy tickets online a week in advance, I could even choose my seats!查看详情

“like a trip back in time”
there aren't many theaters in new York built like he Ziegfeld. in fact it may be the only theatre in new York that still maintains its lovely interior. witness the high ceilings, balcony seating and extra wide screen. walking around this old gem makes one feel transformed back to the golden era. look up at the massive crystal chandlier but take note too of some of the missing crystals. what's really great though is that it's never too crowded. unlike the other theares in new York, there aren't a查看详情

“Loved the Ziegfeld”
My teenage girls and I were visiting NYC when Harry Potter and the 1/2 Blood Prince came out and they just had to see it the first day. Before I left our hometown I bought tickets through Fandango and we picked them up at the Ziefeld a few minutes before start time. What a beautiful place to see a movie!! We sat in the balcony and had great seats for this sold out movie. I love that NYC audiences treat a movie like a show - big cheers and applause but no talking during the movie. I chose this th查看详情

Every other year I buy a membership because my child and her cousin love to go. When we heard that the Space Shuttle Enterprise was coming to town we were excited even though it never went to space. Long story short, you don't get to go inside the shuttle. There is very little interactive displays. My sister went to see the one in Washington DC, she read more went inside and it was free.

The rest of the museum is as fantastic as ever. The family still enjoys it.
